Salaried Personal Assistants Make Good money

Make Good Money by Becoming a Personal Assistant to the Wealthy

The Wall Street Journal talks about the trials and tribulations of being a personal assistant for the wealthy, many of which you face in most other jobs. But they also include a bit of salary info that shows you can make a good income doing this if you can hack it:

So what’s the upside? Well, demand for personal assistants is soaring due to the growth in super-wealthy households, and recruiters say personal-assistant salaries are topping $100,000 in big cities. So if you’re willing to put up with cranky, unpredictable bosses, marital feuds and the occasional flying bagel aimed at your head, personal assisting may be for you after all.

Not bad (it's like being a glorified lifestyle manager). Yeah, there are a lot of downsides, but there are a lot of downsides to any job. But for $100k a year, most people could put up with a few troubles.
