An overview of our custom website design
A Brief Overview Of Website Design
There are 4 Major aspects to the design of a professional quality website. These are Visual Appeal, Organization, Functionality, and Efficiency. Each aspect is summarized below.
Visual Appeal
The first thing a website visitor will notice is the "beauty" of the site. Is the site visually pleasing? Does it give a sense of "professionalism"? You have only a few seconds to make an impact and keep that visitor.
Our web design team has won many awards for their site designs and graphics work. Our design team will make sure your site stands out from the crowd.
Website Organization
Website visitors are demanding. They want to find information, fast. The term "web surfer" rarely applies to business sites. These people want answers, they are not out for a nice "surf on the web". If they can't find the information they desire, quickly, they will go elsewhere.
The layout of your pages as well as the organizational/navigational plan you incorporate is a critical element to your online success. We will help you design the best strategy to accomplish your goals.
Website Functionality
The site must provide the visitor with the useful tools they need. Of course, these tools vary from industry to industry. Frequently, access to an online database of products with the ability to purchase with a credit card is required. Perhaps local maps and online mortgage calculators are needed. Message boards, chat rooms, information request forms, PDF files of diagrams or instruction manuals, etc.
Whatever you need, we can design it and incorporate it into your website.
Important Details
Did you ever notice some sites load faster than others? How about the fact that some sites are easy to find because they seem to be "all over the search engines"? These details (and dozens more) are not obvious at a casual glance at the site, but they are COMPLETELY the result of your design firm paying attention to details.
If you are ready to create an effective and professional website that markets your company the best way possible or to revise your current website, please call us today.
Our team will answer your questions, ask a few questions of our own, and provide you with a written proposal for your website project. We charge by project not hourly.

Delegation defined
Delegation is the assignment of authority and responsibility to another person to carry out specific activities. However the person who delegated the work remains accountable for the outcome of the delegate work. It allows a subordinate to make decisions, i.e. it is a shift of decision-making authority from one organizational level to a lower one. Delegation, if properly done, is not abdication. The opposite of effective delegation is micromanagement, where a manager provides too much input, direction, and review of 'delegated' work.
Most professionals fear delegating tasks to temporary workers or they feel the need to micromanage the temporary worker which in effect removes the benefit of delegation.
Gittel on the Go removes this fear and eradicates the need for micromanagement. Gittels are capable of supporting CEO level executives and can be sent to a client on a moments notice. Gittels are efficient, intelligent, and positive. Failure is not in a gittel's vocabulary.
Every client that has worked with a gittel in 2007 has asked to work with that same gittel time and again when they need them.
Wouldn't it be excellent to know that you do indeed have an executive assistant at your beck and call only they're not on your payroll. They are on Gittel on the Go's payroll.

Two great movies!
Charlie Wilson's War and The Great Debaters are extraordinary films. I had the great fortune to see them on Christmas Day and couldn't be more thankful for such two wonderful treats.
If you love stories with depth, texture, and history, these are the films for you.

Eco-friendly Gittel on the Go!
Excerpt from Los Angeles Times article:
Chayah Masters owns a business called Gittel on the Go that hires out a roving band of temporary assistants. She pays the Peris' business to wash her employees' cars during training seminars.
"No one wants to go to training, so the least I can do is clean their car," Masters said. "The eco-friendly aspect of it was huge for me."

A gittel tip to protect your identity!
Suggestions for how to PROTECT YOUR IDENTITY!
1. Do not sign the back of your credit cards. Instead, put "PHOTO ID
REQUIRED."
2. When you are writing checks to pay on your credit card Accounts, DO
NOT put the complete account number on the "For" line. Instead, just
put the last four numbers. The credit card company knows the rest of
the number, and anyone who might be handling your check as it passes
through all the check processing channels won't have access to it.
3. Put your work phone # on your checks instead of your home phone.
If you have a PO Box use that instead of your home address. If you do
not have a PO Box, use your work address. Never have your SS# printed
on your checks. (DUH!) You can add it if it is necessary. But if you
have it printed, anyone can get it.
4. Place the contents of your wallet on a photocopy machine. Copy
both sides of each license, credit card, etc. You will know what you
had in your wallet and all of the account numbers and phone numbers to
call to cancel. Keep the photocopy in a safe place. Carry a photocopy
of your passport when you travel either here or abroad. We've all
heard horror stories about fraud that's committed on us in stealing a
name, address, Social Security number, credit cards.
5. We have been told we should cancel our credit cards immediately.
But the key is having the toll free numbers and your card numbers
handy so you know whom to call. Keep those where you can find them.
6. File a police report immediately in the jurisdiction where your
credit cards, etc., were stolen. This proves to credit providers you
were diligent, and this is a first step toward an investigation (if
there ever is one)
7. Call the 3 national credit reporting organizations immediately to
place a fraud alert on your name and also call the Social Security
fraud line number. The alert means any company that checks your
credit knows your information was stolen, and they have to contact you
by phone to authorize new credit.
1.) Equifax: 800-525-6285
2.) Experian (formerly TRW): 888-397-3742
3.) TransUnion : 800-680 - 7289
4.) Social Security Administration (fraud line): 800-269-0271
